Ahmadabad witnessed the road show where Modi and Abe bonded a bit more. The fourth meeting between the Japanese Prime Minister and Indian Prime Minister showed a different taste this time.
At 4.08 PM, on 13th September, both the prime ministers started walking down the road. Shinzo Abe was wearing traditional Indian attire. In 2015, he visited India and wholeheartedly participated in the Ganga Aarti in the Varanasi banks.
The residents were surprised by the road show where both the prime ministers walked. The cultural programs and performances were held while the PMs wandered in the well-decorated street to Sabarmati Ashram. The crowd witnessed the two powerful PMs walking together. They cheered them. Shinzo Abe was accompanied by his wife in this journey.
Ahmadabad turned all festive when the road show was organized for the Japanese prime minister visit. Abe depicted that a new era of strong relationship between Japan and India has already commenced. He also said that the entire world will witness the immense growth of the economy of both the nations in collaboration. He also signified the fact that India will play an important role to maintain the Indo-Pacific prosperity and peace. Both the countries will progress towards a brighter future side by side.
The Japanese Prime Minister also said that the economic cooperation from the Indian side will fortify the relation between the two countries. He also said that he is very happy as the Shinkansen train will run from Mumbai to Ahmadabad very soon.
At 4.35 PM, both the prime ministers reached Sabarmati Ashram and the road show ended. After the road show, they visited a mosque in Ahmadabad too. The Japanese Prime Minister’s wife Akie Abe was also very thrilled to watch the cultural performances done in the road show. Shinzo and Akie put their signatures on the visitor’s book in Sabarmati Ashram.
