Going on a safari has been one of the top ten things in most of our bucket lists, and for those of us who are lucky, we actually are able to go on the safari of our dreams. Here are some things you should know before you set out on your one in a lifetime journey:
Hospitality- Whenever going on a safari, you must first look into what countries or regions are safer and more hospitable for you and your family. Many places may be going through turbulent times and you must keep the political and social conditions of the country you are visiting in mind before deciding on where to go on a safari.
Weather– Most countries that provide safari services are tropical ones. If you are planning a safari in the Indian subcontinent, you must especially be careful of the monsoon timings so as to not completely spoil your trip. If you are planning to go on a safari in Africa, you must keep in mind what season is favourable for the animals to show up.
Fares- When travelling, you must never go overboard with your spending. Thus, when planning your safari, you must see what routes are cheaper for you. Sometimes, it is cheaper taking a flight to one coast and taking a land route from there, while at other times it proves cheaper to directly reach your destination; whichever it is, it is always advisable to do your research before going through with the plan of action.
Thus you know the essentials you must keep in mind while planning for the safari of your dreams. Do not be hasty and keep a track of the political, economic, cultural and climatic conditions prevailing in the countries or regions you wish to visit for your safari. Have a safe trip!
