First it was Congress Vice President, Rahul Gandhi and now it is the Chief Minister of West Bengal Mamata Banerjee, slamming the Centre on Monday with her creative version for GST (Great Selfish Tax). Her tweet on GST has become a hot piping news and her protest to change Twitter DP to black is against the demonetization and she even demanded that November 8 to be observed as a “Black Day.”

Her is what she tweeted regarding GST.

Last month Rahul Gandhi mocked the tax calling GST “Gabbar Singh Tax.” The Congress Vice President while addressing an election campaign in Gandhinagar called it a faulty implementation of the tax regime that had led to the destruction of small businesses and industries within the country.

Mamata also tweeted against demonetization saying,

She already is up against demonetization as her DP went black.

Trinamool Congress will take the issue of GST to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s hometown Gujarat. The Finance Minister of West Bengal Amit Mitra has recently wrote in a letter to the Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley that lakhs of weavers in Gujarat alone were badly affected due to GST and around 90,000 looms had to be scrapped.

Mitra also mentioned that the hasty implementation of GST will lead to price rise and complexities related filling of returns because of the technical obstruction in the portal.
